    '89 325i Sport - Track Car (UK)

Been lurking on here a while and thought I'd throw up some info about my current e30:

    Original 325i sport.
Standard m20b25 - soon to be removed.
Limited slip diff (standard and probably needing a rebuild!).
    Fully polybushed.
    GAZ Gold competition coilovers.
    Corner weighted.
    Full roll cage.
    Carbotech XP8 all round.
    Braided hoses.
    Motul RBF660 brake fluid.
    Sparco evo seats.
Sabelt Harnesses but on the hunt for some Schroths.
    Dished Nardi steering wheel.
Lexan Plastic front and side windows. Sliders on front windows. (Rattle like a pill head in a rave).
ECU chip - no idea what it is though.
Currently on T1r's for general road use, but have a couple of sets of 888's and a set of a048's - just bought a set of full slicks.

Have run a few sets of different wheels, including rm's but didn't suit the car imo, but will be keeping the th's I'm running on the road and rz's for the track.

    Here's a few pictures:

Made some carbon door cards and also did some for the rear to keep the cage company ;)

    Rubber addiction...

On the rm's - nice wheel, just didn't suit the theme of this car.

Dropped the suspension and fitted the compomotive th's:

Next up is to make it quicker and I'm torn between two very different choices, either an s54 or (and que the sacrilege comments) a cosworth YB turbo!

First time of properly driving the car in over a year, I took a trip to Spa with a few friends to do a track day - I was easily one of the least powerful cars there, which isn't ideal being a circuit suited so much to power!!

Here's a few photos and a poor quality video at the end:

Not updated this for a while.

Not much has changed aside from changing the engine for an m52b28, with uprated cams, m50 inlet, m20 flywheel and a remap. Now running AR1's too. I've probably done around 30 track days since the engine has been in and despite being on circa 180k miles, it just keeps going. Anyway, here's a few pictures.

At Castle Combe, what's faster 3 wheels...

                  Or 2?

Cadwell Park, such a technical but great track.

Brands Hatch, the van was running a 2jz motor

At Goodwood last month, for Players Classic Track Day.

Some cool tracks you've gotten to take this thing on. I like Cadwell Park, and Goodwood is classic!

Plenty more still to tick off the list! Cadwell is great, I have only been there once but keen to return. Goodwood is one of my local circuits and is a very fast flowing track.
