Well the car is driving again, still a few little things to do, but have just been driving it a few weeks before I have to put it away for the winter. In the spring it will get sanded and polished! The suspension is settling in nicely!
experience of only oil change and painting the whole car with sounds epic. You must have some heavy balls or you just don't care man. :) I see good amount of orange peel on paint. Which is normal and can be fixed with wet sanding. Hoping to see finished product after wet sanding. Good job man.
Well I knew it would be a project and I would make mistakes and I was ready to learn! As it sits... The orange peel and other things will be taken care of in the spring. I was just happy to drive it for a few weeks before the snow came. Definitely a noticeable difference after removing the tar in the trunk and a few other things.
After the first washing of the spring as it was just about 60 this past Sunday in Maine. Also got my wheel from Renown and absolutely love the look and feel.
Thank you! Wheels are 15x8.5 15et - currently with a 5mm spacer up front to clear the break, need a little fender roll, but over all they fit real well!
I should have welded but I just fitted some sheet metal, glued it in, then patched over the top.
