Pep boys off academy has a license plate holder that will bolt I to your euro holes, then bolt your rear plate to the holder. Cost about $5 too!

Thanks for the comments guys. It is definitely a sweet car and I am amazed at the condition of it. The more I look at it, the more the tails and wheels grow on me.

So we have still been having nonstop rain but received a few things and decided to give it a shot today.

The old air temp sensor was all rusty so I ordered a new one and replaced it. I also swapped out the spark plugs.

Here are spark plugs, cylinder 6 on the left, 1 on the right.

    Next to a new plug.

    Nothing looks too terrible though.

I couldn't get to the cap and rotor due to the space constraints of the cooling system. I also didn't have time to drain it so I will have to save that for another day. Maybe an oxygen sensor is due as well.

The hood shock and linkage is missing. Not sure what caused it but the whole bracket that should be here is missing.

You'll see my makeshift hood strut in this photo.

I also filled up with some new gas today.

I'm not envious, at all. And I think I speak for everyone here when I say that no one is.

Id get plug wires and the rest of the ignition stuff while you're at it. Its not cheap, but at least you will be able to cross that off the list as you figure out the issue.

    Congrats! Nice find
