Joined the forums today so this is basically my first official post on here. Ever since high school I had been searching around to find an e30 and just never had the money to get one. However college came around and I was able to land a paid internship this year as a sophomore, and here is what came out of it! 1989 325is
I'll post more pictures of the engine below, but basically what the car had done was take a m50 block and put it in the car, but kept the m20 look to it, as a sleeper. It has new race cam, pistons, custom headers, ecu, solid body mounts and some other things done to it. All I know is that this thing will haul and I have a ton of fun in it. I have no comparison to go off of as I have not driven a stock e30 but the guy I purchased it from said it was around 280hp.
I just went and picked up a stock set of tail lights from the junk yard today that I just cleaned up and am going to put those on tomorrow. I also have a set of GC coilovers with camber plates I can put on it or I have a set of Bilstein shocks with H&R race springs sitting in a box I could do too. Still don't know what the best option is for a nice stance while still maintaining good ride quality. This thing is a blast to drive and let me know what you guys think!
