    The New Daily s50b32 inside

So ive been aggressively searching for a new daily and as i had a e30 for my first car i thought that it would be cool to have one again and so the search began. After seeing a few cars i knew i wanted one with mint paint and no rust as anything else is easy to fix for me. i looked at the one in abbotsford for $7300 it was clean but not 7300 dollars clean. so i continued my search but kept in contact with the owner after seeing a few more cars i thought it was gonna take me forever to find one that i wanted in my price range. i contacted the abbotsford one, one more time and we worked out a deal at $5500 and i couldnt be happier. 2 owner car lady owned it since 98. no rust (as in not even surface rust underneath) all maintenance work done all it needed was a clean up polish and it was good to go. Now enough of my rambling onto the pictures

A little back ground my first e30 also a 1991 318is, Then i went through a few random cars a couple e36s and a jetta. Now, my weekend car is a turbo e36 m3 that took me a few years to put together...

ill upload a completed engine bay shot soon not sure where they went

day i brought it home. paint looks good in pictures but the doors hood and roof were pretty badly oxidized and covered with sap spots

day one of ownership: interior delete

didnt get a pic of the interior after the clean-up. installed new alpine deck, changed all the blown light bulbs and fixed the broken defroster switch.

here you can see how oxidized the paint was couldnt get a deecent picture thou. this was on the roof

    AFTER

And the only spot of concern on the drivers side fender

Plans for the car are as follows

    euro m3 font 5lug+brakes (have)
z3m rear 5lug (in search of)
throwing stars ( Have a lead)
    Ast4100s (have)
1 touch windows, podi vent gauage and a few other interior electronics(on waiting list)
    s50b32+6speed(have)

the car will stay stock till i can locate the last of the 5 lug stuff and will swap it all in at once. the s50 will go in during the winter

so i decided to do some basic maintenance on my car today which comprised of a brake/clutch fluid flush and fuel filter. turns out i kept a fuel filter from my original e30 in 2007. brake fluid was dirty as could be seen in the res. all brakes bled out fine next was the slave. for some reason nothing came out i completely removed the bleeder screw still nothing. ( im using a power bleeder) nxt i tried pressing the pedal still nothing. now im wonder what could be going on, i stuck a small copper wire in the bleeder screw and still nothing but there was some brake fluid on the wire. next i removed the slave and manually pumped it and behold something started coming out. (look below...)

dont think anyones ever bled the slave

Very nice pick up! Looks like a true survivor. And from your attention to detail it looks to be in good hands.

I like your E36, but that 8 series in the back is looking rather fierce.

PS - Looks like a nice neighborhood in the shot with your E30, I'm all about motorized gates / compound like security.

Feel free to hit me up with any questions, or if you need some references as I have the same motor in my E30.
