    Some recent shots

I've been busy working on my engine, and figured I'd throw up some humorous shots of my car on the 1400 mile drive home from college. (only that long cause I drove out of my way to go to Denver - picked up my Z3 steering rack and a bumper...yes...I got it in my car.)

    To the pictures!

I washed it the day before I left - the morning I left it rained - how gay is that?? LOL Boy...was that shit SLAMMED!

Yep...I'm a crazy son of a bitch. What can I say? Can't leave home without extra rims! Snows will be on these next year, and won't be coming home with me again! :D DAMN they use space!

Decided a good investment was in order. Ghetto ran the wires so it would be up there - I love it! :D

I've always wanted to snap a picture like this - too bad it turned out crappy - I got way lucky too. I wasn't even looking when I took the pic (naturally...I couldn't)

Sunday afternoon, shortly after crossing the Utah/Wyoming border. God, I-80 is fucking KICKASS through this part. After Green River, the interstate was frickin AWESOME to drive on! The truckers are a delight to drive alongside, since they know what's goin on. I was haulin along almost 100 this entire way. It was fantastic! These were takin, if I remember correctly, in Echo - small town right before the I-80 and I-84 interchange. I thought they had gas...nope, wrong. I was running a bit low. :)

The car was so damn low. YES, that's my front plastic bumper covering the pass side of my car. I could still see out the rear, and out my side mirror. The way I have my mirrors set, I could see my blind spot, so no worries there!

Before anyone asks - the V1 saved me at least 3 times on the drive home - one time I actually saved someone else since he was right behind me. We were both moving about 95. It's already outdone itself in cost. :)

I think that's all I had. I love road trips. However, the highlight of my trip was definately traveling the curvy parts of I-80, followed shortly by Highway 287 between Laramie, WY and Fort Collins. AWESOME road, no traffic, and it cut time off the trip on the interstate.

    Great trip.

Then my subframe had to crack when I hit 50 miles out - couldn't shift into reverse or 2nd - glad I made it home safely! :-o

Pics of the subframe, and my rebuild, can be found here: http://r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=70092

    Enjoy! :D

Im making a 700 miler tomorrow. Definately not that loaded though, and with no v1 it means conservative cruising for this guy.

          Thanks guys!

I'd love to make it to Indy, but cost wise, O-Fest will be pushing it. I already had to call off one of my summer trips.

I forgot to mention - when I was in denver I rolled my fender HARDCORE - went up a massive bump way too quick (bastard tailing me) heard a nice thhhhuuummpp - I was like..shit.

You cna see it on the pass fender on the second to last picture, at around 1-2 o'clock. lol

My rims are not Ronals, like he said.

Genuine BBS RZ's - ET20 offset, 15x7. Love them to death...but God, they are such a bitch to clean.

I'll refinish them soon, thinking I may do a sllliiight gunmetal with polished lips - nothing really dark - but just like a very very metallic dark silver - think that would go great with shadowline and some nicely redone side trim. :)

When I saw the first pic I knew it was unnaturally slammed. It was almost as low as my car :)

Good photos. I love packing everything I own into my car for trips home and to college. I live in West Palm now though, so no more trips with constant tire rubbage in the rear!

Let's drive fast and have fun.

                          Noope - IE Stg3's.

I rubbed a bit in the back, but it wasn't bad.

Give me one month, and my rears and fronts will be rolled. No more rubbing for me! :)

Always been a fan of your car Sean. You're swapping on some plactics soon, right?

I love the look of your wheel/tire combo. They look beefy.
