The sparkles are lens flares. It's basically a camera inability, but it can look cool sometimes.

Shadowline at some point?

You know, I have the full set of OEM shadowline from a 318is, but once I got my new wheels one, several people said that the chrome trim really looked good with the wheels, and that if offset them really well. I've started to agree with them, so what I'm thinking about doing is the half-shadowline that came on the late model 325i, where the inside section is black, but the outermost section is left chrome.
