After living in San Diego for the last 4 years, last Thursday I packed-up my E30 to the brim for the fourth and final time and headed home, stopping in Orange County and Los Angeles on the way. The car performed beautifully, as it did the last four times that I made this drive with the car packed to the brim.
First off, I'd like to thank R3V for both answering all of my questions, as well as many R3Ver's for physically lending a hand to keep my E30 on the road. I'd be lying if I said that I was able to keep this car on the road myself, without the knowledge and wisdom of so many of you all.
Second, a big shout-out to the SoCal E30 Community. Not only did these people help me keep my car on the road, but many of them became good friends. Hell, I got my first real job internship through a R3Ver. So essentially, it was a R3Ver who helped start my career in finance, not some college counselor or recruiter - and for that I am forever grateful.
There is no doubt that I am going to miss my E30 while it sits in storage for the next two years. But when I do return to California from Chicago, my goal is to pickup where I left off in making this car the E30 of my dreams. Hint: S52 Swap, Complete Body/Paint, etc...
Below are some photos of my car after every year of college, as well as some photos I took in my final days in San Diego with my bud Pouya's MT1 325is, and my other bud Constantine's S52 E30 M3.

There is nothing quite like carving Highway 1 in the middle of the coastal forest in an E30 that stacked higher and weighed down more than an X5.
Most enjoyable road-trip of my life.
