damn, I can't decide which color I like better. I think the Florida just won my heart over. -
Ryan, I think you need a burrito break. You seem to be irritated and making silly mistakes. We've come to expect a high caliber of things from you and those seat belt receptacles confirm my fear. Please. Get a burrito. For America.
Sincerely,

Freah paint is the best. Sucks putting back together though cause you worry about every little thing that goes near the car.Leave a comment:

Lol damn you guys. I just threw them in for a photo. I removed them and installed a set of Autoflug belts from my 73 polaris car. These seat belts actually work now so that's going to be nice...not dying. With the new(er) seat belts, I installed different receptacles and they are now oriented correctly.
The Florida has been painted and is in wet-sanding/buffing phase. My painter will apply the chip guard (Schutz) tomorrow and then repaint. Don't ask why he is doing it this way, but he is. At this point, I trust him.
The lighting is all fucky but it's really really ridiculously nice.

This will be a very nice car once completed.Leave a comment:

I have more updates but I'm too lazy to post them tonight.

Interior lookin' peanut butter. Glad it works so well with the color of the car.
We do need to get the door cards right though for Ryan because there was some miscommunication with the shop guys, but it'll be right since the 1600 needs to be all original.Leave a comment:

I probably will. I might redo a second set with different specs.
Newer photos from today. I got most of the interior in. There are things I need to add (like the rear door card's elbow rest thing). The front and rear cards don't have provisions for mylar tape and that doesn't bug me so much yet. But I do have to remedy this for the Florida car. That car has to be right. This car is already strange so I like it as-is.

Now I just need to play with the rear GC suspension and get the rebuilt carb on and I'm back in business.Leave a comment:
