    5lug ix on rc090's

Finally completed the install a few days ago. Been working on this project on and off for a few years now and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

    Wheels are stock rc090 17x8 et20 that I refinished
    Tires are 205/40.
Front offset is the same as stock and the rear is a few mil's wider.
280x25 front brakes and 276x19 vented rears.
Custom adapted camber/caster plates up front and still trying to design something to adjust the rears.
Sitting on GC coils and Koni race.

Next plans are to swap in a manual transmission. I have everything I need except for flywheel and clutch kit. So as soon as I have those I should have it swapped within a day.

Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    C&C welcome

    Front fitment is pretty good

What is the recipe for the swap? Have another thread with the build?
Mine is on the backburner right now, but this gets me a little excited to get back at it!

This particular setup uses e30m3 rotors and e28 535 calipers in the front with a custom adapter. Hubs are from an e36 non m.

Rears are 323ti hubs, e36 328 convertible rotors and calipers again with a custom adapter.

Amazing work, I am very impressed how you got the 5lug setup to work with the front axles.

I'm curious about the front axle setup too. Did you use rear hubs or something?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I'm considering making some kits and selling them if there's enough interest

Hey, I'm looking to do the swap on my recently purchased wagon. Any more information you can share on the front brake setup? Any additional pictures you have of the swap? Have you maintained the same exact front brake setup or did you end up changing it at any point? Trying to have a setup that is easy to come by.

Nice, I always wanted a wagon! I never changed the front brake setup. The e28 caliper carrier needs to be modified to clear the original ix front caliper mounts and then you need and adapter to mate the two. I don't have any more pictures. I haven't touched the car is close to 8 years now. Where are you located?

Did the factory calipers end up working with the rear e36 hub you installed on the front? What rotor did you end up using? I wasn’t sure if the rear hub was the same dimension and thickness of the factory front ix hub and what rotors would fit.

btw, I’m down in Jacksonville Florida
