Over nine years on the forum.

Realized I've been on here for 9 years. Don't feel like it!! I stumbled upon the site by accident when looking for info on my first e30. It was my first foreign car (I love domestics). But over time I have came to regret that I was one of those guys who would put my nose up to foreign cars. I got my first e30 cause I was looking for a cheap car to drive. My dad told me about a BMW that was for sale locally for $400. It was a 85 325e. I didn't have a clue what I was going to see, but when I got there I seen a small car with a inline six, 5 speed and rwd. I just said sold!! I have no pictures of when I first bought it, only ones from when I first stating to modify it before I joined the forum. The car was rust free, but was hit hard on the front pass side sometime in it's past life. The gaps in the body didn't line up very well on that side...

Mods, Angel eyes, eyebrows and Tokico lowering kit. The paint looked shiny, but was peeling bad on the hood. Car was originally from ID

The engine in it was starting to get tired and this is what it looked like before I parted it out and sent the body to the crusher.

But I found this 87 325es, It was a PA car it's whole life and that was it's down fall... RUST.. It wasn't bad when I got it, but got worse down the line and way after I sold it, the car really shouldn't of been on the road. But the owner did part it out.

Its very cool to see the progression over the years, you really gave each car a thorough work over. I remember staring at pictures of your black car when I first got into e30s a few years back with a black '86 e.

Out of curiosity, what did you use to wire in your analog clock? I'm trying to wire mine in still and I can only get the light for it to work, not the analog clock itself.

              Looking great, by the way!

Your black car was my one of my favorite e30's back in the day. I remember when you put it up for sale it I seriously debated buying it but couldn't justify it at the time.

The pin stripe added a classic touch to it. And the wheels where something different from what everyone else was doing at the time too. But still looked good on the car.

I used the wiring from the 13button OBC. There's a thread on here somewhere on it. And thank you!

A good many people was interested, I really hated to sell it to someone far away cause I wanted them to see the rust issues in person.

I got made fun of on here for the first e30 with the headlights, but I ignored those people and after seeing what all could be done with these cars. I found myself going for a different look then most with a lip and drop on here at the time. Most liked it, some didn't. But most of all I lived it. Although with this very, I'm trying very hard not to modify it much.
