i plan on it, i'm thinking of building a gradual bumper out on the middle, the side looks tits (the mounts wern't screwed in tight so it can still be pulled in another 1/4 inch or so and then it will be pretty close to what it was originaly. but the front like everyone said looks like a big chin or bulky object hanging off the front. in the begining i envisioned a line running accrose to see the bumper but no trim no side markers imbeded front turns which are still going to come, and a stepped lip. so i'v got another trick up my sleve to pull out before i decide to cut it back in 2 and step it back, and ill see how she turns out. i'm not going to stop until im satisfied and when the finished product is out there then you can either agree with my taste or disagree, but i think everyone will like it. i was just planning on a cleaner lookking front with less lines and less busyness with the valanve join the lip join the fog joings and brake duct joints bumper joints, and trim i just wanted it to look less busy. but i went overbored and now i need to make a line.

It needs a lip, and some recession in the middle, to break it up

      Just my 2 cents

Is that a real RD piece any pics of it on other E30s? I cant imagine someone actually trying to market that. Not everyone here is trying to look alike just there are some factory parts that really do make these cars look slick, Is lips and such. Its always great to see someone put alot of effort into something to make it unique, but as you admitted yourself you failed, so please take that thing off you E30.

Anyone who disagrees has an ugly car.

Posting on a public forum with the progress pictures of the bumper typically means that you want the other people on the forum to view the progress. It is commonplace that when one posts of a forum of any type there are postings that follow within the thread.

                            A+B=C

So by the very nature of you posting this on a public forum should mean by default that you will receive posts within the thread.

To expect that all of the posts that follow would all be positive or constructive is way too much to expect. People are giving honest opinions of what they feel is pleasing to the eye and compliments the body style of the vehicle.

The majority of posts here in the thread indicate it looks like shit and do not want you to feel good about how it looks because even though you spent time on it and thought it would be worthwhile - its just not.

Suck it up , accept that people will post thier opinions in a PUBLIC forum and so be it.
Dont like the opinions - dont post. Its as simple as that.

If you drill down though it appears that when people say they dont like the way it looks its actually for your own benefit. It is in hopes that you will rip that ungodly looking hunk of plastic off your car and throw it in the local landfil.

We can only wish though. Its up to you. Make the right choice.:p

Right here. It dips down, then crowns, and dips again. Its also too wide, its horrendous.

Welcome to the internets. When you post things it becomes a topic for discussion. Its kind of how forums work.

oh i'm not saying you can't voice your opinions i wouldn't have put it up here if i didn't want that, i'm just saying you telling me what to do with it isn't going to effect my decisions shit all unless you have somthing usefull to tell me, or a good idea. you'll have to circle the "dip" in paint cause i'm still not seeing it, especialy if i go out side and check it with a straight edge... you may be circling a run in the paint? cause my friend forgot to put one of the springs in the paint gun and it shot a shit load of paint on one spot that needs to be sanded down... or your talking about the spot on the far turn signal, which is also not a dip... it a reflection of one of the lights handing off of our house.. but regardless its somthign thats only showoing up in the pictuer due to the lighting from different angles.
