The last picture was truly the icing on the cake. Very well done.

Well, soon after the last pictures, I figured the car was a bit slow after a local trackday running up against some 106's and stuff.

And some arty pictures by someone who's actually good with a camera :)

So took it to a mate's dyno, to see how it fared:

So, found out I was missing 50-60 bhp on what I should have. Started getting worried, and rechecking everything with the engine, swapped electrical bits, cam timing, everything. Couldn't find the source of it.

Until couple of months later in the Ring, when the oil temps got up and the pressure got low.

Can't maintain idle, crap. Took it to a friends garage nearby.

Popped the oil out and the smell was nasty, as well as a crap load of debris. So, something went terribly wrong.
Got the oil pump out, yep, it got destroyed by debris, it was so much it didn't get filtered.

I check oil and pressure few times round the ring, but the last time I do it is about 2 km before the straight, that means that it could've been going for that long flat out with issues.

So opened it (actually had someone open it, I couldn't even bring myself to do it) and checked the full damage. Apparently some knobhead rebuilt the engine and put a bent crank in with new bearings. This was when the guy who payed to get the engine rebuilt payed for a crank measurement and alignment. He then sold it to me freshly rebuilt, crap!

Result, crank, cams, head, pistons, etc, etc. Scrap.
I could reuse valves, valve springs, block and little more from internals.

Then insued what I can only refer to as madness, but that's enough for now.

                  So, what next...

I definately needed better brakes, and the car was eager for a little more power. So a little wrenching here, a little wrenching there, with a lot of help from a friend's shop

And I ended up with this:

                  Get some of these in:

And ready to rock once again:

You make it look too easy. Easily one of the hottest builds here.
BTW, where do you live? portugal or poland?
you only get to choose one: both have hot ass e30s. too much hawtness.

Wish, S50B32. Got my ass handed over to me by a Norwegian S54 e30, the S54 has so much torque it's ridiculous.

I can say, it wasn't easy, and still far from over. It was fast though (month and something), if you compare it to the rest of the build, did have that amazing shop to do it though, unlike before.

I live in Poland currently, and soon Turkey, for work.
But the car lives in Portugal, or Germany depending on time of year :)
