really lovely car, Needs a classic angled twin tip on the back to finish it off.
At its current height no, there are no clearance issues. But the drop hats and race springs should drop it at least another .75/.5 respectively. Was unable to find any definitive answers among the threads(searched everything, at least I think). Judging by my mediocre eye sight, the inner fender lip will rub the sidewall by just a tad so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

As far as the muffler, I enjoy the different look it gives and the sound is great. I do see what you're saying though, may succumb to that as well somewhere down the line.

Finally got the bigger chunk of my parts in, hopefully going to be installing the new suspension in this week as I had hoped. She'll be on H&R race springs with Bilstein sports + e90 drop hats. This should close out the gap from the 16's nicely. Planning to take it to some auto-x events this summer to really test out the suspension as well.
Other tidbits include garagistic delrin brake bushings and brand new rear headrest kits for the houndstooth headrests I finally found after searching for about a year and a half. These things are just perfect

And mocked them up just to get an idea. I'll just need premium housings now for a cleaner look.

And on an unrelated/related note, I picked up this sweet 1983 univega viva sport that I plan to do a lot of riding on throughout the summer. Old stuff rules.
Picking it up and bringing it back in my back seat wasn't too fun though, so what's the recommendation on the best roof rack for the money? Yakima, Thule etc?
After all this gets installed I should be very happy with where it sits. (One last pic for attention)

Got around to installing the headrests as well as premium speakers I picked up off a local guy that's on here, super cool dude and nice e30 as well thanks man!
Did the whole process in my not so well lit garage - it was not fun. But the result was worth not waiting to do it during the day. The speakers however were left facing the wrong way, just for the fact that I didn't wanna butcher the shelf

And these had to be touched up a bit

The ol' gal's coming along nice, just need to find time for the suspension to tackle it on my own

Awesome car! Have a question about the e90 drop hats. What are they used for and where do they go?

Nice, what did you do with the weaves that were on the car?

They're used to lower the front another half inch or so, they basically just replace the existing e30 spring plates that are on your car now but compress your springs a little more with the added depth of the new ones.

Sold them, regretfully now that I think about it. Those would've been perfect winter wheels *sigh*
