    My Euro Converted 325

Hey all, so after much contemplation over selling and getting a weekend adventurer I just couldn't get myself to part ways. This car handles too well and is a blast to drive. It's never given me major mechanical issues, and I've spent a lot of time and money to get it in its current state. It started with me as a clean db car that I always had plans of turning euro

First matter of business was a huge tune up, being as it only had 134k and the timing belt had only been changed once in 2001. After that I put all my focus on the cosmetics. It's had new paint, refinished wheels, rechromed euro bumps with new trim and used euro valance and lip; essentially everything on the exterior has been freshened up.

I got lucky with the interior because it's in such great shape, there's absolutely nothing wrong with anything. The great feeling is that it's 27 years old but feels like new.

I've done so much to it in the 2 years I've had it I can't recall everything that's been done, but man is it a totally different car than when I purchased it. Since I finally have it the way I want it I'm not sure what else I'll be doing to it in the future as far as cosmetics go, but right now she's just used for blasting through fun roads and daily duties(to from work really). It's also great now that I have a garage and live two miles away from my campus, relieves a lot of driving miles and she can now rest protected in the night. The Bay Area also has a ton of nice roads to drive

For now my plans are to keep it originally euro as possible, maybe lower it on some nice wheels etc. haven't decided yet, but will try to update as I move along.

    Thanks for looking!

The chrome looks great. How much did it cost you to get them rechromed?

I only got a couple pieces chromed, front bumper/side front and the cover clips, came out to about 400~500ish. Chrome is expensive

Haha, the pee shooter has been a temporary fix to the ratty original muffler, but I actually like the sound of a delete.

The front was very simple. Bumper mounts up directly without any issues. The rear however was a bit tough cause I had to make my own holes for both the mounts, didn't exactly line up like other threads say. Also to make it look correct I welded over the pre existing shock holes.

Yessir, was at least. Almost let it go for next to nothing compared to what I've spent. I fell bad for fj60's and their ruggedness to take them wherever you want, but this car is my baby, just couldn't do it. I will probably sell down the line but a 2002 sounds like the only acceptable replacement

Ahh... I've been reading the front is the easiest bit. Thanks for the info!
