    The Jalopnik Daily Driver

    Greetings all,
Wanted to take a moment to share my new 325. Some of you may remember this car from the Jalopnik post, "How About 1989 BMW 325i Daily Driver?" The car was actually a wedding gift from my awesome wife. I've had the car for all of a week now but there will be lots of updates to come. Can't wait to get started on her.

Looks super clean to me: what is there to 'get started'? Maintenance?

      Thought exactly the same...
So what do you have planned for it? If you are using that as your base, I can't wait to see what the future brings!

There are a lot of maintenance odds and ends to be done. Need to rebuild the sloppy shifter, steering needs some help (its a bit loose, haven't been able to investigate yet), exhaust needs to be replaced, a/c doesn't hold a charge, driver's door lock cylinder is not working, need to track down the oil leak, replacing the cracked windshield next week, and a hand full of interior issues. Overall the car is as clean as it looks though. Once she is all tightened up I'll be working on a turbo setup with the M20.

Good job on the car and the wife, they both sound like keepers, lol. Also its nice to see someone who is keeping the M20. Can't wait to see some updates.
