Driving in the canyons of LA for the first time

Had an awesome time today in the canyons of la.
got to drive with my buddy Simon (2man)
    We drove through
    The Angeles crest Hwy
    Sand Canyon
    Little Tujunga
    Canyon Drive
    Aliso canyon
    & Soledad canyon.

he we had a little mechanical problem from one of the drivers in an e21 when it popped a radiator hose.

    overall great day,
they just paved part of angeles crest highway
very fast full throttle 3rd gear and 4th gear turns.
we stopped for gas and in n out.

some of the 2002's that showed up had awesome engine swaps.
the pictures are all mixed up but we have a brownish 2002 that was my favorite.
    andrews
    2.7 stroker m20 swapped in a 2002

    alexander klein's
    2.3 s14 swapped in turbo 2002

    and i forgot his name
m42 supercharged cop ignition with meth injection in a 2002

simon (2man on r3v) and I soo much fun on the freshly paved mountain roads.

Nice. Ryan (phreshkid) and I frequent these mountains, but we take the long way ending up and exiting out of GMR. Last run we exited out of Big Bear.
Let us know if you're going again - we prefer small groups though which is perfect for us four.

though the group is larger, I usually jump in front and we dont have a problem having "spirited" drives. Alex and I were in the front with the Brown M20 powered 02. That thing is a rocket! Usually we pull far far away from the rest of the pack.

ya that brown 2002 on r888 was quite fast. id like to read a build thread on it if anyone has an leads...SKIFREE!!

@ak although this group was large, like simon(2man) mentioned if the fast cars go up front first its not an issue. for the second leg of the drive i was the second car with the brown car leading the way and we had fun playing cat and mouse.
