    new feature! R3Vs COQ: F34R

YES YES YA'LL! Its back and its better than ever! we all want a COTM, but until it ramps up, I present to you my COQ (Car of the Quarter).

editors note: I will be doing much of what we love with the choice in COTM, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I think you will all appreciate. I decided to start this new chapter with a closure of the old one and a thank you to the previous editor of the COTM, Brandon aka F34R. His car is a true definition of what a COTM or COQ should be. He built this car for himself, he built it right and has evolved his own vision of the car. Its not a car built to grace the covers of magazines, he built his own "ultimate driving machine" and it certainly performs.

Where do I start?! Well I came into the BMW e30 world when I was 15, I picked it up about 6 months before I was able to take my permit test in NYS. It was a 1986 325es, that is what hooked me and I have owned an e30 for the last 14 years straight! Rewind to March 2010 and that is when I bought the shell that would become known as 'Polly'. She is a 1987 4 door in Luxorbeige Metallic that was being parted out. I struck a deal for the complete car minus the b27 and auto transmission for 250.00.

    Drivetrain:

    -m30b35
    -260/6 transmission
    -ARP head studs
    Complete resealed
    Everything powder coated

    Suspension:
    -GC coils 800(4")r/500f
    -GC e28 race camber plates
    -GC Rear race shock mounts
-GC E30 M3 custom sway links
-Koni valved adjustable shocks and inserts
    -Shortened housings and E30 M3 tabs~by me
    -Meyle arms
    -Tree house racing eyeballs
    -AKG bushings/IE replacing ALL stock
    -e30tech weld in correction kit
    -UUC 22mm SwayBarbarian front kit.
-Condor Speed engine and transmission poly bushings.

    Brakes
    UUC BBK 2pc rotors
    SS brake lines
    Massive brakes Booster delete kit
Slotted Zimmerman rear rotors and Hawk race pads

    Wheels/spacers:
    Artec MI 3pc 17x8/9 4x100 et38(before spacers)

    42 Draft Designs custom spacers:
    25mm front 15mm rear.

    Hardware:
Motorsport Hardware 90mm bullet nose studs w/ NeoChrome lug nuts.

    Tires:
    BFG Sport Comp-2
    215/45/17 & 245/40/17

    Interior:
-Recaro LS-B e21 seats with custom seat bracket bases~by me
    -Gutted 95% of everything

    Exterior/paint:
    -Euro bumpers
    -MT1 e28 rear spoiler
-Pfeba lower lip and '84 lower metal valance
    -Sunroof delete
    -Euro smiley headlights
    -Rat rod <3

    Curb weight:
-2,428lbs with 1/4 tank and roof rack(rack is around 35-40lbs).

This is how I got her(wheels were on though)

How she sat after everything was pulled.

Rear suspension rebuilt, blasted and coated in two layers of engine temp paint then undercoated.

Converted to e30 M3 sway links.

M20b27 was the first engine, it would soon become an SETA bottom end with b25 head and 288 Schrick(W/Schrick Hi-performance springs) with IE HD rockers.

Just a short video after meeting Swanny, I wanted to show the travel from the insane suspension setup I am running. Uploading a few more right now.

Thought it was neat to show how everything works with one another.

This was before the SUPER light Recaros.

Scored these NIB Recaros from 1983 off CL for peanuts.

    Made brackets

Scored this m30b35 in the dead of winter that would replace the cammed m20

Started making some engine mounts for the m30.

Tore the engine down to do the timing and a complete reseal.

    Little brother lending a hand.

M50 header conversion, cut off old flange and welded it to one of the m30 3/8 thick flanges.

M30 blank flanges to m50 SS headers fitted to the m30 blanks, down pipes to 2.5 dual turns to a custom Y 2.5 inlet/3" outlet, 3" straight back.

Polly has a sexy rack ;)

You can see roof rack build here:

Not much happened after the e28 MT1 or sport wing

melted the BFG Comps in prep for new tires.

Shout out again to Matt aka Mr. 325 for giving me a heads up on my dream lip!
    Pfeba goodness:

Current photos of her, not much has changed besides getting ALL new electrical in the bay(Coil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor)

Thanks for making it all the way through! If you want to read the whole build see below:
