tribute to my uncles 87 e30 with 5.0 swap.

So the first car my uncle has ever owned was a 1987 BMW e30 325e. i remember he had this car for so long and he always had a plan to put a 5.0 302 small block in it. before he gathered the parts it sat for about 4 years in the garage before he actually decided to do it. the whole wiring harness and motor was out of a 93 mustang gt that was totaled. he even cut the whole steering column out and welded it in the car. the car had a lot more modifications including the oil pan to the drive shaft. a lot of time and money went into his project so i figured i share it without him knowing. Sadly our garage caught on fire yesterday so he had to watch the car burn along with our dirt bikes and other stuff but the car was the main loss..He basically lived in the garage. the car had a lot of sentimental value so i don't want it to be completely forgotten. So heres some pics of his project. i hope someone will enjoy it and see the value he saw in it. thanks for reading.

Yea there was a wood heater in the garage but in the back of the garage my friend had his 2 bmw e36s with a tarp on them. The tarp caught fire which led to the garage. Alot of stuff burned. My uncle was gathering parts up and 1000 worth of parts was in just the trunk alone.
