I was afraid someone stole your access info at first... then I saw the pics of the subframe and I knew it was you Scotty.

We need to catch up soon buddy. Shit has been crazy here lately and I've hardly spoken to anyone!

Alpina Z8 came with slush box and NON-M BMW V8. Fecking stupid waste of money.

Z8's suck anyways. their frames are cracking and splitting apart like eggs, there is a class action lawsuit against BMW over it.
        Below the radar...

Very much appreciated, Brent. I try my best to keep things interesting. I lead an interesting life, without bragging. I always find myself in random places seeing cool things, or being in the right place at the right time. I consider myself very lucky - not too many boring days ;)

*e-hugs* I thought you'd be less busy once you graduated, I should have known.

Yeah, FUCK those Z8's. lol. For real though, cracking frames? Doesn't sound like the typical BMW style...what seems to have happened?

That would be the Z3 roadster (E36/7) and Z3 coupe (E36/8 ). BMW did not give the Z3 a unique E designation, unlike the cars today which every chassis pretty much gets its own number designation. So the Z3s are differentiated from E36s with a /7 or /8.

You also have floors ripping out of 1992-99 E36s with high mileage. The 96+ M3s had reinforcements where the subframe mounts into the chassis of the car.

In short, E30 4 lyfe. Or maybe I could be persuaded to get into an E46 M3...

                    E36/7 - he's talking about the Z3's.

I don't really like the chrome in the engine bay unless it is for a performance purpose. And I don't care for the Z too much. Nice progress on the BMW tho! And Z8's are SO sweet. Right up there with 850Csi.

Uh...that Supra has somewhere around 700 hp - so the chrome is allowed :) It's a show car - it wins trophies. That's why it's chrome ;)

Z is pretty crazy too - little too much appearance mods, but the HP and engine work back it up :)

Getting there - will have a fresh sandblasted and painted subframe and trailing arms, with new subframe bushings (stock w/urethane reinforcements), urethane TA bushings, new rear wheel bearings, new rear brake backing plates, new axle nuts, and SS lines.
