Yea I am going to start taking more pictures of my work in my projects, I just bought a nice camera a bit ago. Hence why I am considering doing a write up on the column and pedal install. Once it comes out of storage ill be taking more photos, videos, etc.

Just bought JBRacing flywheel, South bend endurance clutch and a nice wheel from Renown ^^. Car is in the garage now on stands with no driveline, rear subframe, or steering column/pedals.

And the next project begins...

Aquired an early model steering column to swap in (considering doing a write up on the process).

Snapped these yesterday. I have the rear subframe out and all the reinforcements welded in now, paint drying. New diff seals and fluid will go in shortly along with new sway bar and mounts and all the new bushings and then the rear will be put back together. I will be do a steering column swap in another post. Trans has yet to come out but I did receive my JBRacing flywheel. 10.5lbs!

I was going to update this today with more pictures, but I had a mishap with my sway bar kit. Wrong size mounting hardware. I did manage to get everything rebuilt on the rear subframe/diff and re installed though. Pics to come.

Hey bud, saw you also had purchased the wilwood pedal setup. I myself have a M60 swap with the same setup. 2x 5/8" and I believe the clutch is 3/4. If it's not 3/4 it is 5/8" but what masters did you pick up? Reason being my clutch will not engage now and I'm having such a bitch figuring it out!

Well the kit comes with 2 5/8" masters for the brakes and one 3/4" master for the clutch. That's what I have anyway so I'm assuming that's what you got unless you asked for something different when you purchased? And I haven't set anything up yet so I haven't run in to that problem but I'm pretty sure the 3/4" clutch works fine with the stock BMW slave cylinder. Maybe yours is shot?

So I got the replacement mounting hardware from IE, very quick and painless, good guys over there it seems. Rear subframe assy. is back together for the most park and looking good. Ill try to get pictures up soon, finals are claiming quite a bit of time this coming and the past week.

Thanks, I want get a custom welded cage done in the near future too but I just have idea where to go or what the costs will look like.

Got the front IE sway bar mounted up today. Transmission will be dropped by this weekend so it can be rebuilt and the new flywheel and clutch kit can be installed. Still have pictures to post but haven't gotten around to it yet. Updates will come.
