that pretty much sums up mine (alpenweiB II with a red sparco bar) but mine is even uglier... going to matte-black everything under there when I pull the engine / swap it, until that point, after it leaves the body shop in a few weeks it's a "hood down" car at shows etc :(

Is it a PITA to take off the valve cover and manifold to paint them? Also whad did you guys do to prep the metal? Anyone do a step/by/step? I must have missed one in a search if there was info out there.
