    1988 BMW e30 325is build thread

    hey guys, just joined REV!
    This is my 1988 bmw 325is.

    ENGINE
    - Stock M20B25

    SUSPENSION
    - H&R race springs

    WHEELS
    - 16x9" ESM 002R
    - 205/45/16 tires all around
    - 3mm spacers up front
    - 5mm spacers at the rear

    EXHAUST SYSTEM
    - full custom headers back, vibrant racing cat and Borla muffler (single dual out) with flow-master tips

    OEM+
    - Walbro fuel pump
    - German overhead check panel
    - BMW ZHP weighted shift knob
    - custom shift & E-brake boots
    - condor racing M3 style offset control arm bushings
    - european spec bumpers (without side markers)
    - euro spec M-tech 1 steering wheel

    AESTHETICS
    - Coilovers on their way (with e90 drop hats)
    - Half wrapped at the moment with satin emerald green/chrome/teal vinyl wrap
    - Vinyl wrapped sunroof
    - VW MK3 front lip (zip ties for negative street cred)
    - Tinted red tail light side markers

    I also just bought a 1991 BMW 525i (e34) that I am taking the M50B25 and rebuilding (hopefully turboing).

          Did you have to use longer lug bolts or convert to studs for the 3mm spacers? Any vibration or balance issues?

            nope! just used the stock lugs. theres quite a bit of thread left on the lugs actually... max i would run is 5mm with stock bolts though.

              thank you! a lot of time and money put into it :) what model are you looking to get? mines really good... has never broken down on me.

                Nice I've seen this car on the Instagram I like that wrap color.

                In my opinion, I don't think pulling the m20b25 and swapping an m50 is worth the time and money. Why not turbo the m20 instead?

                      I like the look of the m50 aswell as the customizability compared to the m20. I just recently bought a Holset HX30w for 50$ with no shaft play that I'm gonna be slapping in there too haha
