I love how you can take it down the beach with a board like its any old car.
so cool
This is my life.
ALso have these prepped. Ready for valve stems and tires. They'll go on after paint. Has anyone priced tii center caps lately? Even with a steep discount, I'm into the caps for $240. What the shit, man.
I also threw on the Borrani center caps. They fit ok, but there was interference with the front e21 hub. These seem to work much better with standard tii hub and brakes - yet another reason to stay with stock brakes.
I've read your whole thread and during the process, I stumbled across what kept echoing during the thread.
The green "1600"
Very nice cars!
Good luck with paint, can't wait to see this car in person.

Appreciate your comment. I'll keep them coming.
Did some more stuff.
First, I will have a spare set of tii alloys refinished. These are especially neat because they were casted in November of 1972, which means they are not only the most-correct for the car, but that they don't have the "FPS" stamped in the face of the wheel, like you would typically see on new wheels of today.

Haven't been doing much to the car except enjoying her before she goes in for some bodywork, repaint, and full interior restoration. I intend to shave the DOT sidemarkers, and push the bumpers in.
Along the lines of enjoyment, here is my body, with the ol' girl. We go great together.
