what are those wheels in pic3? they look like porsche dial phone, but a little different. always loved those on mk1 & 2 vws.
They are wheels made by Work for Autostrada. The model is called Monza, it's a three piece wheel. Loved the look, very 80's.

RS212s fit the car so well. In my opinion its THE perfect wheel for the M3.

I haven't done a build thread, mostly just updated photos that I've shared with the community. The suspension is Ground Control, GC camber plates, koni shocks, eibach springs, with rear camber adjustment.

Yes it was a sweet set up, however the white contrast drew too much attention for me.

April 2016 Car of the Month - JZM3

***Editors Note: I actually met John through a good friend who simply said, "One of my co-workers has a E30 also, its pretty cool." I've always been impressed with the beauty of the simplicity of his mods. We can all appreciate a tastefully done M3. Congrats John. btw what is this Spongebob interior mod?!? hahah

    Color: Volkswagen Red

    Interior color: Black

    Engine modifications: Dinan chip

    Exhaust: Eisenmann

    Transmission: 5 Speed

    Differential: 4.10

    Suspension: Ground Control Coilovers

    Wheels: BBS RS212s/Volk TE37s

Exterior modifications: Euro Grills, Euro Smileys, CF DTM Mirrors, Blacked out side markers, clear indicators.

Interior modifications: Black partial interior swap from tan, Recaro Speed Seats, Spongebob, Italvolanti steering wheel, ZHP shift knob,

Story behind the car: Eve is her name and we’ve been one since 2005.
Originally I was looking at an E36 M3 and I almost got a Dakar sedan with an automatic transmission. Luckily the guy sold it at the same time we were supposed to meet up. The car came to me with 18inch wheels and 158k miles. Over the years I have changed the look but with minor details. I like to appreciate a car for what it is not for what it isn’t. I’ve never had the urge to do big motorswaps or turbo set ups. Eve has gone through 4 different exhausts, two different suspensions, 6 different sets of wheels. I can say this car has changed my life and is the reason why I met some of my best friends. My goal was to keep the car simple and timeless. I appreciate R3V messaging me!
