New E30 owner and very excited

    Hello everyone!

I've been looking for a project build over the last couple of months and found what I really wanted last weekend. I picked up a 1984 E30 325e I'm super pumped and excited to get started on my build. I used to own a E36 325i 4 door and loved it. Glad to be a BMW owner once again.

The big plans are S50 swap, full suspension, race inspired interior and new paint. I am giving myself 3 years for the build.

The only things not working on my current E30 is the fuel pump and a flat tire (which I already took care of).

Anyways, just wanted to say hello and looking forward to being an active member of this community.

Welcome to r3v! Hope you take care of that rust before you focus on go fast parts!

3 years? better get cracking then. Judging by the sills and rear wheel arch you are going to find some surprises in the engine bay.

Yes, I do plan on addressing the rust. My plan is to strip the car (pull out the engine / tranny and interior) then bring it to a bodyshop to fix the body and then a new paint job. Once that is done it will be onto putting it all back together with S50, full suspension and interior.
