Yea if its popping out of gear the only way to fix that is with a trans swap. First/second gear shift fork isn't staying engaged for some reason.

Top priorities are getting this steering rack to stop leaking (replace everything) and figure out why first gear is popping out every time I engage and accelerate. Shift bushings feel tight (no major slop), but I can't comment on the trans bushings or anything else really. But the pop out in first is concerning.

Managed to change the mileage on a working odometer. It accurately reflects the mileage now...sort of.

Very easy to change mileage...took all of 10 minutes with no interruptions.
