Happened when i brought i back from being color sanded. I got a new gas tank for it but didnt get any of the fuel system components so i just patch the tank and am saving the other one to put in later.

I wish either of my e30's were found in this clean of shape.

^Thanks guys and awesome about the sub!

Not much has been going on as there's never time during the week, I did however manage to drain the water in the cooling system and I'll be filling it tomorrow morning before with with Distilled water/ BMW coolant. Since fixing this car up on Saturday/ Sunday it's been my daily driver. My white e30 need's wheel bearings so badly in the rear it's just sitting, hopefully I can get the new bearings installed this weekend. Thanks Kronus for the extra hubs!

I also got the bottom cover on again (I'm surprised the car even came with one, there normally missing) plus the new fuel filter in. It was replaced at one point in the car's life which was nice to see, it also looks like someone put on aftermarket clamps at the same time though which I wasn't to thrilled about but they work fine regardless. I don't want to jinx it, but the car hasn't left a drop of oil, tranny fluid, absolutly nothing in the driveway and I've put on 60 miles so far. I reallyyyy hope it stays that way.

Well I guess I got one other thing done today, got my Euroweaves re balanced at Americas Tires.

Old on the left, New on the right.

Thanks man! I suppose It all came down to luck. This car was posted on Craigslist for freakin 10 days.. The sellers did a horrible job advertising the car, very few key words on Craigslist brought up the ad. Not to mention they never renewed the ad. so it was one of the very last pages in the search results. Seriously, the ad. had one sentence.

Speaking of lowering, I'm having temptations of swapping my Ground Control set up from my white car onto this thing..

Exactly what I did... Had my vert for less than two weeks and I took the GC coils and few misc front suspension bits off my sedan and onto the vert. Poor sedan got the cabrio suspension

Brought the car in for smog today, passed just fine. Since driving the car everyday this week I've noticed two issues, the speaker on the driver's side cuts in/out often and the washer fluid light is always illuminated in on the check panel. Nothing major, but slightly annoying.

I replaced some clips today on the drivers side rocker along with cleaning the interior up a bit. It was clean inside, but dusty so I just went over everything with a wet rag and it's good as new. I ended up leaving the seats and door panels alone, I'll most likely clean the seats with some Meguiars leather conditioner I have laying around some other time.

I can't believe I was able to pull out the old clips in one piece, I thought chunks would break off and go into the hole they clip into but nope!

My drivers side speaker cuts in and out too but a new stereo system is on the back burner right now. Where did you find those clips?

I'm not sure if the speakers just slowly dying or whats going on but I'll need to remove the kick panel to check it out. The clips are sill available new thankfully, I got them at the dealer.

Well I got up early today to drive out to the dent guy my company uses. Payed him under the table and got it removed for $40 bucks! Not only that, he knocked out a dime size dent on the passenger Q panel for free. He started his car and while sitting in it he saw that small dent and offered to remove it. Took honestly maybe 4 min for it to be removed, the door panel didn't even need to be removed because his special tool had a long enough handle to reach it.

Definitely will be using him in the future, nice guy.

                                [

Then things got serious and he had to remove the tail light..

I also bought some soft top repellent. I didn't buy it because it's BMW brand, but I think applying this stuff with a sponge will be a lot easier then a spray bottle like the 303 uses. Not only that, but when I treated my last soft top with 303 there wasn't enough in the damn bottle to do a thick enough coat on the top. Here's a DIY I found online: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=736860
