Pictures of the car and progress so far
So far the engine is at the machine shop, it has been line honed and has all arp hardware, bored out to 84.5mm, entire rotating assembly balanced, and it will be back in about 2-3 weeks with the bottom end assembled with the cp 8:5:1 pistons eagle rods and acl bearings. So as of now im cleaning up the engine bay, im doing a shaved bay and a full repaint so thats where im at right now, i want to go with a dark tricoat red, probably will go with house of color because they have some sweet candy reds, but anyways here are some pics of parts and the car and the start of the engine bay
Cp pistons
The eagle rods
Pic of the engine out along with my old 1.8t jetta coupe in the back

Nice job making two identical threads. My recommendation would be to clean up your grammar, get a Flickr, and get some pics up, I want to see your car.Leave a comment:

91 e30 m52 turbo build
1st BMW ive had and its a pretty badass car thats gonna be even more sweet when its done so i thought id start a build thread for it, gonna be a long one but im stoked.
BACKGROUND: so i bought the car basically already a beast, a parts list includes the following
- fully rebuilt head with m3 cams
-precision 5252 turbo with aftermarket billet wheel
-blunttech top mount manifold
-tranny out of a z3
-akg short shift kit
-injector dynamics 1000cc injectors
-aeromotive fuel pump
-tial 44mm WG
-turbosmart BOV
-fuel pressure regulator
-mishimoto intercooler with 3inch piping and 3inch downpipe
-ground control coilovers
-everything is poly mounted
-complete vipec v88 standalone management with haltech igniters
-aem wideband and boost guages
Probably forgetting some things but the car gets down it put down 544whp on the dyno... i was able to pick this up for $4200 which was full asking price from owner
The problem is that the car wasnt suppose to be pushing 23lbs of boost, it was only suppose to be pushing about 12 which is safe on a stock block which the block is, but the overboost issue took care of that, the bottom end is toast haha. Therefore im doing full arp hardware, cp pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings, and the engine will be going to the machine shop and everything will be balanced and line honed all that good stuff.Tags: None
