Got an update not much has been happening I've been really busy at work, got the filler work mostly done and primed, there's a couple spots I need to touch up then she will be ready for sealer and Base/clear, I have been debating on the color still, I want a dark red, and I was thinking about doing calypso red, feedback on that choice would be nice, I always really liked the color though, other thank that the bottom end is being assembled and should be back this week.

Little update, still working on the engine bay getting it all patched up and ready for epoxy bondo, I've got all the holes in want to fill welded up and grinder down, so now it's just getting the rest of the small bits of seam sealer gone and everything scuffed up with 120 grit, should be getting epoxy primer in the next couple days then it's time for bondo

Decided to just weld new panels in areas of the strut towers, seems to be a lot cleaner, I started on the passenger side but only had time to get a piece cut out and another new peice made, leaving for a week to Canada so I'll pick it up again then, good news is the bottom end should be reassembled by the end of next week!!

Im planning on spraying an undercoat on the inside of the inner fender wells/ wherever there's welds. Should make it look clean even though you won't see it but it will protect well against rust more importantly

I got the panel at the bottom of the shock tower welded in. I have a couple of questions though it seems like most people weld it completely in then grind out the welds and then bondo over the welds at the seams, it sure looks good but my concern is having it crack overtime, id like this to be quality and last along time for shows for years to come, any input from people who have done this? Seam sealer would be nice but i want the bay to look like glass and completely smooth
A picture of the panel welded in, some of the welds were shitty i was on my own for this one,
