88 M3. S54 Supercharged. New to Me. SoCal

I recently added an E30 M3 to the stable and am loving the car. The previous owner, a BMW tech, built the car. Some of the big ticket items: S54, Gintani Stage 2 Supercharger, Vi-Pec V88 management, Dinan Stage 3 suspension, Wildwood BBK, caged,e36 M3 Trans with Z3M 3.15 diff, tons of other stuff. I will try to get some more pics up soon.

    Plans:
-New wheels or at least get some 20mm spacers on to make it a bit more flush.
-More Low- Maybe just new springs, possibly coilovers. I'll stick with 17s, and probably BBS, but I may want a change up and more squared setup.
-Wrap - I plan on wrapping it either Fashion Grey or some sort of white. Thoughts on this?

As things progress I will start a thread.

i live near you and had family that also lived in villa park.

it would be cool to fabricate a duct to shove some air towards that filter

Thanks for the welcome. I've been on the forum for a few years but just thought I would do an intro for this car.
VP is a great place. I'm building out a garage now for some more e30 space!
        Thanks for the spacer info.
Good idea on the duct! VF has an intake that brings the filter down towards the bumper, which I think may fit. I just need to get my hands on one to test it out. But yes, even a simple duct up to the filter could be a good idea.

Well... it may not be long. I love looking at the car in it's current color scheme as it is totally fitting, but on the other hand it clashes with all of my other cars and for some reason doesn't feel like it's mine because its not monochrome. So... fashion grey or white is likely coming soon.

Having driven a s54 swapped coupe, this must be fast as hell with the blower. Nice.

It did! He was a great guy and has been helpful in the questions I have had since the purchase. I think the SoCal crowd will see a lot of this car. I plan on having it out often, C&C and such.

good christ what a perfect car. I will say, as much as I'm partial to red E30's, that would look great in white or atleast red without the gold wheels.

Damn, that's an M3 worthy swap right there...
What 'box sits behind that S54? matching 6spd?

I'm a fan of grey M3's, reckon it makes those arches stand out a bit more.

Thanks for the compliments. It's an e36 m3 5 speed.

Ya... Grey could be nice. Also, wraps have become so cheap that it's almost just worth it for paint protection. A local shop with great reviews has quoted $1,600.

Powder coat the wheels black then go to a Ground Control coilover setup(I personally think the current height is perfect)

e30 M3 with an S54 is how it should be! Having driven an e46 M3 and an e30 M3...its a gorgeous blend of performance, weight and handling.
