    New here from NY. Picked up an 89 ix that i believe has been a subject here before. Hoping to bring the thing back from years of neglect.

              Thanks guys. I think his handle was mkovel. The car dropped off the radar for a few years and appears to have been neglected(rust in all the usuals) plan to stop that hopefully after mechanical issues are sorted. Gti pic too

                  paint looks great on the front of that car! congrats.

                  Remember that almost every single IX suspension part is different than the regular RWD.
                  You're smart to take care of the mechanical side of things first. An ill-maintained IX could be a nightmare.
