Well I am officially back in the e30 game. I bought this 1991 318is today. Diamond Schwartz with an anthracite check cloth interior.
Paints a bit rough but the car is really strait with very little body damage at all. Drivers side front fender has damage at the front corner right by the head light from a soft bump, and the rear apron is a bit bent. Other then that the paint on the roof is faded and it has some good rock pitting in front and some small scratches here and there.
This car is really unmolested. I mean reeeeaallly unmolested. Still has the factory radio. I like that.
Interior is clean. Typical small cracks on the dash and fucked up drivers sport seat. But other then that is frickin perfect. Just needs a deep clean.
I got a spare rear seat, and comfort front seats included as well as a full brake kit from ECS.
Needs a new front window so Ill be looking for one of those soon. Maybe some one has one in the PNW?
Mechanically the thing seams sweet. The M42 is whisper silent. No sowing machine noises at all. Timing chain has been done recently as well as regular fluid changes. Only thing I could see was a leak from the power steering bottle. Still has a good amount of cosmoline on it that needs cleaning.
It has a manual sun roof which is fun.
Plans are just to keep it classy and DD it. I think the girl friend will end up driving it more then me because I'd get it to dirty with all my man glitter from work. My truck always has a thick layer of hardwood dust, gave up trying to keep it clean.
Anyways I am STOKED to be back in an e30!
