    Xerxes..... 87 e30 cabrio turbo m20 build

Well.... this is my first post here... glad to be a member of r3v now.. this is my e30 build I've been working on for a couple years now

I'll just catch you up to speed... before and after pics

    Now on to the updates!!

    How the trunk currently stands

    Interior updates:

The car came with cardinal red interior but I wanted black instead sooooo... ordered new front and back seats with rear headrests... found a parts car and took the black door panels and all from it...

Remember the college guy that turned the econo gauge into boost gauges?.. well I was one of the ones that got one... add that to getting the cluster updated from e30dad and presto

I'm a big Nardi fan... only thing I run in my cars.. sooooo I found a guy in California that did custom Alpina ashtrays and asked for two favors... one I'll show now and the other later in the post

Fast forward... interior has come together better than expected... alot of here and there things need to be done as always

I upgraded to one touch e36 window switches as well but pics don't show it.. and the radio will be the last thing I install

    NOW.... THE ENGINE BAY...

the second favor I asked the guy from California to do was a custom valve cover...

Found a custom intake manifold in my searches as well... after getting most of the imperfections out and having a 75mm tb flange welded on, it and other parts were color matched.... it came out pretty well I think

Here's an idea of how the engine "should look"

Well... it's a continuous build.. getting a shaved bay and fixing here and there things on the body now while I put together a 2.7i stroker to go in it.. I'll updated as it comes together..

    I'll leave with random pics

And my dad shares the same love for e30s as I do... I blame him actually.. lol

      that boost gauge is awesome.

What transformer would you say your car is going to turn into?

It'd definitely be a bad guy... I think "hardwhite" nickname would be it's name lol

        Thanks for the kudos!!!!

Is a larger bore throttle body actually useful? 60mm to 75mm is a huge jump. I've seen quite a few turbo e30s with 400whp+ using a stock intake manifold/throttlebody.

You are correct... it was just an option on the manifold...
