its a type RA roof scoop. in japan and europe theres a model known as the type RA which stood for Race alerted. it's basicly a stripped down verison impreza turbo that came with no options at all. It had no AC so they gave them a roof scoop. some RA models had steel wheels since they knew they would upgrade them anyways. They also had crank windows and whatever else to make the car lighter
