Yes, this autox will be the first real test of this brand new project. Gotta go through the brakes before then, I do know that.

Thanks for all the kind words, I try to keep my stuff nice. Updated pics of this car as soon as its lowered and happy.

          Update:

Finally got all my suspension goodies after a few choice words were swapped over the phone with Ground Control. Spent last night at the shop til 2am installing the coilovers so that I could finally get around to driving this thing. Drove it home tonight for the very first time and nothing fell off, broke, or caught fire. Yay!

If you are curious I'm running Bilstein Sports with Ground Control coilovers. Spring rates are 550 front and 700 rear. Here it is with its new ride height and the Kosei K1's I bought for it almost a month ago it seems....

Next up will be throwing the 325 on the scales, corner-balancing it, and getting it aligned ASAP. Next mod, glasspacks!

Photoshoot of sorts coming later when I get my "is" lip on the car and finally detail it fully and get it all spiffy looking. Til then, if I wana ride in style in a E30 I'll just jump in the beater...

          :D

Speaking of IS lips, if anyone knows the best source for one, help a brotha out and pass it along.

Those are two fantastic looking E30's you have their, I've very impressed. It's always great to see someone bring a mistreated E30 back from the dead, and you've done a spectacular job with that 325i. Your M3 is also great looking, and I have to say, you take some great photos. Look forward to seeing more of your cars in the future.

Not really. I actually never drove until about 2 weeks after buying it. The guibo had completely come apart and the center driveshaft bushing was FUBAR and the driveshaft was beating the living hell out of the bottom of the car as I pulled it into the trailer to take it home. Called up BavAuto, got all my parts, got them installed and then convinced myself I needed to do the suspension before I really started driving it.

it is was under the tree, did the guy jus really neglect it. may i ask how much u paid ?
It hadnt been driven in about 7 months when I bought it. I had a horrible time getting it running and getting it to idle with all the old gas. The previous owner stopped driving it as soon as the driveshaft bushing finally let go and soon got a company vehicle so he never went back to fix it. Lucky for me, his mom told him to get it out of her yard at all costs. He was asking $2000 on craigslist. I hit him at $800 and he said ok.
