Interesting. I guess so many people think they sound and drive like the DTM S14's you see on YouTube?

Haha yeah. Exactly. Drive 200hp and 180ft lbof torque for a while and then hop in a 400hp car. You quickly realize it's not fast. They sound good. But so does my blown s54...

Did you have any issues fitting the intake manifold around the brake booster? I am very tempted at adding a SC to my S54 E30 and still not sure which kit to go with

My car doesn't have a booster but there is tons of room to fit one. I deleted it when I had a carbon box due to the size of it. I will be adding one back in now since the power is very demanding on the brakes and manual just doesn't cut it anymore..

Yea I have a carbon box that I was going to add but cant fit it in with the booster and I don't want to go boosterless.

Looking sharp. Since you went with the ESS SC kit I'm curious do you think it would allow you to run the stock brake booster since the manifold appears to be smaller?

I think I can, or at least a Porsche 944 unit. Lots of room...

Just curious, did you have to go through the BAR process with this swap?

I remember getting subway in this car in 2008 when you still had the s14. It handled incredibly well on the auburn roads. Back when your dad's ferrari was at your old shop.
