And, your seats look awesome! I'll hang onto mine.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for your paint/body work? It came out great

Thank you! The positive comments mean a lot to me and keep me motivated.

My good buddy back in Nor Cal did the paint and body work. I got the super cheap buddy discount of $3500.

He (and his wife) regret not charging me more. It should have been at least $5000. However, I don't feel too guilty as he had the car for almost a year taking his time.

Wow a year without the car is awhile, but can't argue with that price. Just trying to gauge how bad I'm gonna get bent over when it finally comes time to do mine.

        Thanks man

It's been a while. Where do I start?

Well, a gently used M20 was installed last year after I discovered that the old M20 was making chocolate milk. We even spent the money to fully rebuild the head and still had major issues with the block. Luckily, I found an M20B25 out of a wrecked auto vert with approximately 80K miles. Thank God for the E30 community!

This new engine runs strong, but I'm still chasing down an electric and/or sensor issue. The C191 was replaced last week and that has helped a bit.

Aside from that I've been replacing little stuff like trim, clips etc. Sunroof seal, which isn't closing right now and ripped the cloth lining. It just never ends!

On a more fun note, my buddy and I installed some Garagistic treehouse CABs. That was harder than it should have been, but well worth it.

Recent car show with my buddy's E28 M5. He's going to sell it soon and I'm sooooo tempted
