    Post GC isntall photos

My buddy etamax and I went out and shot some pics after installing my GC setup.

Im running 350 front/500 rear both springs 6" long. Front all the way down, rear all the way up. Dampers are Koni top adjustables from TC Kline.

is the front as low as it goes without modifying the strut housing?

I welded the perch open about .5" lower than the 2.5" from top that GC had listed. I put the spring perch on, the threaded collar on, and then tightened down the gland nut all the way. I pushed up on the perch against the gland nut (threaded collar as a spacer) to get a flat surface a tacked the perch in place. I took off the other stuff and then welded it the rest of the way. I probably could have got 5" springs up front and only put the perch down the reccomended 2.5" to get the same result.

The strut tubes arent cut as I have the normal e30 front Konis.

the red car reminds me of weston's car (likecdoos). ever considered a shadowline? they look great on red e30s.

how exactly do you adjust the height? do you just spin a nut?

Im going to do the shadowline, Ive just been doing other stuff first as its not a huge priority. Illg et around to it though.

E30trash I live in the Seattle area with some very crappy roads, I wouldnt consider going lower in front and in the rear I was keeping the geometry from getting too screwey since I dont have camber or toe adjusters back there yet.

you should be able to see how the assemblies are set up and how it works from there. you spin the gold adjuster to raise or lower the car.

                Good stuff.

Doesn't it just transform the car? I'll still never forget the very first on-ramp I took after install...shocking.

ahaa...you used the OEM FSM...thats why its still so high. if u upgrade to camber plates u can go lower in front AND have more shock travel. win-win situation.

Not so win-win with the added NVH.

I refuse to run plates on the street still. Then again I refuse to run any sort of urethane either, so maybe I'm just different.

I wouldnt want to go any lower in front. The driveways here are very steep. Its perfect for me as is.
