Comfy ride and decent handling, H&R sport, Bilstien HD is a good combo. If you don't like the ride height, just use the thicker stock spring pads.

The basic ground control coilover set isn't that much more expensive than getting fixed H&R springs anyway. Plus you get the option to specify spring rates and spring length.

I have about a 2 finger gap between my tire and fender on my touring in the front and back, with Konis and the street GC setup, seems to do OK on the awful 405 freeway.

I have my ground controls set pretty high, with the cut strut housings you get at least as much travel as stock while still being a bit lower. I don't think the only reason to get coils is to get stupid low. I'm very happy with my setup, although if I were to do an alternate it'd probably be H&R Super Sports and Konis.

The konis really make the setup imo, adjustable dampening is key to getting a nice riding car.

FWIW, H&R OE sport springs paired with Bilstein B4s is nice, but firmer and lower than I expected.

Back when my car was going to be a daily, I planned on running Euroweaves, H&R OE Sport Springs, and Koni Orange Shocks.

Car looks good on the 14" weaves. I definitely noticed a difference from going from 14" to 15", though some of that may have been tire construction, brand, and model.
It will never go back to auto...

Im currently in the "I need some suspension travel" phase of things. This "new" setup is an experiment, Vogtlands and 500mile old KYBs are on their way and should arrive Friday. Im not expecting much and am already planning the phase after it.

Once thats on with the basketweaves (which are also a temp) Im going to see how life is before I move on to the apocalypse phase, which will be new suspension and a different set of wheels/ tires

    This...

So far Day1 and it helps but i think it’s time to make a suspension change. The Roadster should be able to take over canyon runs and hopefully track days too so I will be looking to soften up the setup to something more daily friendly.

    Current look...

Im also exploring an option to give me a lot more suspension travel so I can explore some other terrain too lol
