    2nd E30 - 1989 325i Zinno Coupe

    Hi R3v!

This is my new to me 1989 325i Zinno Coupe. Recently purchased and slowly fixing it and modifying it. I bought it from the 2nd owner of 7 years who got it from their dad that bought it brand new!

Currently has 126k on the clock, manual transmission, LSD

My first e30 was a 1992 325i laguna green vert that was auto, so with this one I learned my lesson and got a red manual coupe :p

Anyway, I plan to do a few tasteful mods (don't wanna stray too far from stock), but things like wheels, suspension, paint repair, various interior bits, and whatever else comes its way! This car will likely be a daily/fun car, and my current daily (Z4 3.0si coupe) will become more of the weekend car.

Glad to be back in the e30 community!

Thanks! Haha I wish! It is too bad there probably won't ever be an S54 in the engine bay, but it was funny that I got those plates out of many random plates

Did the rotors/pads on front and rear.

          Look at these ugly things

          Stripped down

New rotors, pads, and I wire wheeled the calipers down and painted them black, works well with the bosch pads I got.

Here are the Brembo rotors, supposed to be an OEM replacement from what I found.

Next up, working on the paint! Compounding is step 1, and by far the worst step of the process!

Look at how gross this paint is!

I ended up compounding and cutting it off there, but wow I think I compounded for about 10+ hours and already there is a huge difference!

Next up is polish and wax! Stay tuned.

Hey folks, a very late update. I actually finished the paint a while back, but never got around to uploading pictures. But heres the car after about 17+ hours of paint correction! Also I got oem basketweaves

Crazy how zinno looks at different angles, lighting, and camera! Needless to say it looks very shiny in person!
