Hey, quick update. No pics :(
-Zender rear apron on its way!
-Ryan G splitter, 80mm wheel studs
-80a offset cab's (unsure if I want to install these yet) Have new tierods waiting
Ordered a new spring for the rear Eibach GC150.64.82 or 6”/2.5”/500lbs
Current spring rates are 375/425 and the fronts are 7'/180mm long which doesn't give adequate tire clearance so I will put the rear GC150.64.77 or 6” length, 2.5" ID, and 425lb rate up front.
So my new rate will be 425/500Last edited by Chrisbike; 02-18-2018, 11:48 AM.Leave a comment:

Haha wasn't planning on it. I think it's a super cool idea.Tell me about it, ill probably build a 2.8 with m21 crank, 130 rods, and i pistons when this bottom end decides it doesn't like the boost anymore (Ill get it tuned when the rotrex is stage 3) I still have some research to do on them but I'm pretty committed to the idea of rotrex so don't ask, why not turbo?
I'm toying with the idea of a 2.8 eventually. Just a matter of time for the bottom end considering what happened to the head.Leave a comment:

No problems with the axles popping out, lol Both sides were rebuilt by CVJ Axles roughly 20k ago. Yeah, I had a really small tear on an inner boot after 5k on the passenger boot, the headers put off a fair amount of heat. Ill build a heat shield soon

Wrap is not bad, when the time comes I will build a rotisserie with another engine stand and strip the underside/ do metal repairs/ seam seal undercoat. the car will get a full respray in some color. A driver restoration.
Thanks, lots of help/ inspiration on here, make me want to dive into metal work (with experienced friends help) but that's beside the point. Your 325iX thread is awesome...
:tsk: No pulling out of this one. lol, you've owned too many cars to have ever committed to keeping one. Gotta start somewhere...
Thanks, It's pretty good, Beats a bunch of primer and 3 different shades of Sterling Silber (hard to match).
Why thanks :D Your iX ain't too shabby either!Leave a comment:
