I would agree!!! Yeah he said wheels and tires were about $2,500 dollars, but he couldnt really remember ... haha

Well i asked him if he would like to trade me cars and he just laughed,... i guess thats what alot of muscle car guys do when they see our cars... but they have to remember that in this day and age our cars along with hondas, VW and all the other imports are the new age muscle car in a way....and they handle 10X better..haha...

nice GM muscle. wheels not my taste , i'd put the oem rally wheels on it or the gm magnum 500's. I just got a 72 Vega last week and i'm putting a healthy 383 in it. it already has some work done to it like a 8 point cage narrowed 12 bolt w/4.56's, frame connectors, and other goodies. I mostly like Mopar muscle cars but recently i've gotten into gm products currently i got a 85 Grand National and 96 Firebird Formula. This bmw i got now is my first foreign car, it's no american ground pounding muscle car but i do like cruzing in it like i did my 62 impala ss.

very sweet. I would trade my m3 ant time for something like that! I also grew up on muscle cars, my father restored 55-57 chevys since i was like 10 or so. Love that chevelle.
ohh, not my car, but the question about the 396??? why a 396?? that motor aint nothin. a small block is the way to go, unless were talkin bout 502s and bigger. a nice 383 small block is a revvin beast!

That's an awesome look. Your friend has excellent taste.

BTW, it's a '68. The 69's had different tail lights.

mid-60's nova: smaller, not as popular as the later muscle cars, RWD, ..
                          and it's kinda boxy.

I dunno about the oversized rims, but Chevelles make my wee wee stand up. I like the rims, they just look too big for the car, like those little DUB toys. But I would definitely hit it/rock it. ;)
