New E30 owner (UK)

I'm about to pickup my first E30 and thought I'd register and say hi.

Hoping to find out lots of info and pick up many tips on ownership from here and across town at the E30s-zone.

Car is a 1987 325i cab. Manual, 71k miles in Zinnobar Red over Pearl Beige leather. Added a few pictures below and will likely create a build/ownership thread once she's in my garage.

I also have a steel grey 2.8 Z3 and have owned numerous Z4s, Z4Ms, an E46, 335i and most recently a 1998 MCoupe breadvan/clownshoe (Imola).

Anyway I look forward to checking out your rides and learning lots about mid 80s car ownership!

Very clean! I always wanted to drive a RHD car. I was in england once due to a one stop flight to Portugal and the shuttle that drove us to our gate was RHD and we were "on the wrong side of the road". Welcome I'm fairly new to the forums myself.

One week after picking the car up and I'm deep into planning work to get her up to a standard I'd want her to be at.

The last proper inspection she had was 12 years ago pre-storage (!) so over the next few months I'm replacing the suspension with oem height Bilsteins, bushes, full inspection 2, new cambelt, water pump, thermostat and head gasket/bolts. Also replacing various bit of trim, weather strips and roof gaskets plus fuel lines. I'll also waxoil the sills and make sure everything is protected underneath.

Loving the car and can't wait to prep and work on her over the coming winter months.
