I honestly struggled to believe that bronzeit has 380k miles! You have done a fantastic job of cleaning the car up. The interior look practically brand new. Good luck with the tranny swap.

Nice fogs. So minty and fresh. I need a set as well. Can't you just replace the lenses?

And those cloth sport seats. I'm not usually a fan of cloth seats in e30, but I really like these.

The bronzit from Juan requires an assembly swap.
I bought the car with a manual transmission pedal assembly already installed as you see it. I haven't investigated much more into it. Not sure if a previous owner had once had a complete 5 speed in it, or at some point began a swap and abandoned it.

The car is getting it's crack free dash installed as I type.

Purchased a set of Depo smilies which will receive a 4300k HID kit in the low beams, as well as a pristine set of refinished fog lights off the forum.

Thanks! I agree, a rare find at this mileage.

So when I first bought the car is stunk like weed inside, specifically like a freshly smoked blunt. That dissipated over time to realize that this was once owned by a smoker. I do not smoke and the mild smell became annoying to me. I replaced the entire interior this weekend with a beautiful set of fabric sport seats. I have yet to install the door panels as I ran out of Griots Interior Cleaner from a weekend of scrubbing.
No pics yet, but I power washed all the OE floor mats last night at the local car wash palace. Those should now look even better. I also did the carpet really nice and pulled any stains the car had. The smell is gone! I also put the Nardi wheel in. That thing feels great.

I want to send out the injectors to be rebuilt and do all the top end gaskets on the car. It seems to get pretty bad gas mileage, like 17-19mpg on 92 octane. All the ignition components are new so I'm wondering why it seems to be so thirsty.
5 speed swap to be completed pre-picnic.

Looks as though the sedan may be finding a new home...

Crack free dash to be installed next month:

    Cleans up nicely

I can see where you're coming from, and if it was latter gen 3-series, like an E9x, I wouldn't have an issue with it being auto, but I just think the 4HP22 auto in these is soul-sucking and robs the e30 of being fun to drive.

Thanks! I feel the same way. Got a bit more to come before the E30 Picnic this June. Hoping to refurbish the front & rear subframes with new bushings, H&R Sports & Bilstein Sports (B8's) + an E36 steering rack conversion.

Thanks! It's making for a nice daily driver.

The guy I bought it from was really nice. To be honest I really feel like I rescued the car. When I did the timing belt it basically began to disintegrate in my hands. It was very needing of the timing belt, tune up and fluids. It runs awesome now!

I personally thought the nogaro clashed big time with the bronzit. I think they look much better on a silver or a darker colored car.

Lots of updates since the last post! I have been busy making this a suitable daily driver. A 996.2 is calling my name so who knows how long I'll end up keeping both these E30's. This car really brings a smile to my face everytime I drive it so I'm sure I'll keep it through the summer, take it to the Picnic in June and a road trip down the Oregon Coast this September.
    • Purchased a complete fabric sport interior that is in very good shape. I also have the door cards & rear seat. I've been cleaning it up this past week.
    • Finally washed the car after all the snow we got hit with in Seattle.
    • Installed the gorgeous painted side mirrors from DELPHINtimecapsule
    • Got an under tray splash panel for the engine bay from Lance Richert. I like everything to be complete on my cars
    • Got a 360mm Nardi Steering Wheel with hub from the R3V FaceBook group page
    • Got a DS A-pillar blank. I also got a set of premium audio tweeters from a friend, who is currently looking for them in his parts stash lol
    • Pieced together a nice set of 14" basketweaves and caps and mounted these 185/70 Goodyear Ultra Grip Winters on.
    • Sourced a clean, crack free dash locally (sorry, no pictures)
    • Got Lemforder E46 M3 Rear HD strut mounts. They're totally blown out on the car now. The car rides on Bilstein B6 HD currently
    • Next up is sourcing everything for a 5 speed manual swap and a new windshield.
