    1990 325i garage queen 36k original miles

Hey all - it's been a decade or so since I logged into r3v (under a different username), I was a member of e30tech back in the day as well. I used to own a few 325iX models. I sold my last iX a few years ago (my wife cried) and have been out of the e30 scene since. However, I had an opportunity recently that I could not pass up. An old lady who lived in my neighborhood passed away and when her kids were cleaning up her house, I caught a glimpse in the garage of a 1990 325i sedan hiding behind a pile of boxes. I asked the son about it and he told me they were the first owners and bought it new from BMW here in SLC. It spent it's life in the garage, has not been registered or driven since 2012. And it only has 36k original miles. After a year of coaxing, I was able to convince them to sell me the car. I live close enough that a couple of friends and I just rolled it into my garage. I didn't dare try start it after it sat for so long. My garage is dimly lit and small, so I don't have a lot of good pics at the moment. The car is an auto, the interior is in pretty much show room condition and the exterior has a couple of minor flaws, but is overall in awesome condition. I have not decided what I'm going to do with the car yet. I've always wanted a low-mileage e30, but am more fond of the iX, and now that the e30 tourings can be found in the states, I don't know if I'll keep this one. At any rate, I thought I'd share this with you all, since not many people locally have the same passions as we do.

Congrats! Why not clean it and sell for profit. I would personally keep it and find another to tinker with.

      because 4 door Auto....

Not sure what you picked it up for, but do a timing belt/ water pump job and start driving it. Then you will know if you want to sell it or not
