Wow, that car is seriously clean! Great find. I've never seen that one around here locally. It looks very well preserved.

Do you have any long term plans for it beyond the bumper swap & tint?

The SHOP is a fantastic spot & the food at Derby is delicious. What a perfect place to make a car deal.

Enjoy the 101 - it is one of the worlds great drives. I use to have a friend that was in a masters program at Humbolt State. I made a point of driving down to see him 2x a year from Portland along the 101, recognizing many of the spots you've taken so far.
At the time I had an extensively modified 2g Subaru Legacy sedan. I once came up on a late 80's MR-2 who promptly left me in the dust, meanwhile I exhausted every effort to keep up. We were the only two cars on the road. A drive I'll never forget.

    Cheers

Fantastic! You did to well stay close. The seller Phil was meticulous with the maintenance, he even gave me a spreadsheet on what was done and when it was done. I intend to continue that legacy going forward. He really nailed the mods I would be looking to do. I am waiting on an MTECH II steering wheel from adrenaline junkie and will be putting in a condor speed shop weighted tall shifter. Paint will get just short of a wet sand with an awesome detailer I have in Vegas. Grill badges and a few aesthetics like plasti dipping the 325is to match the black spolier.

Just over 1450 miles to get the car home. From redwoods, ocean, to desert car was a blast to drive. Could not be happier with the purchase or the drive home. Looking forward to updating the car in the coming weeks.

Pls keep the metal bumpers on this car. Do not go plastic.

This. People who want plastic bumpers should buy late cars.

Interesting. Much like tint being able to be removed same with the bumpers they can go right back on the car. A whopping 2 hours in the shop. Hardly an engine swap.
