Is this a common problem? I was thinking of just using an OEM E34 M5 clutch with the flywheel.

Not sure if its common so to speak .. After I enquired on what a UUC set would cost, I did the below and I think came out better for better money.

Kind of creepy, I had some of the same stickers on the inside of my Alpine trunk lid too.

Dude, just do what I did and make up your own clutch /clamp. Much stronger and better clamp rates and materials. You'll also only pay lower than 1/2 the price.
