hmm, do some basic maint. check subframe items etc. the front sway bar brackets are busted on both sides, me and e30groupie have plans for those. replace fueling items pump, filters etc. need to find a 3.7 lsd very soon.

looking into suspension and brakes also. either hr race with bilsteins or the full club sport hr coilovers. brakes im not sure about. cross drilleds were horrible on my e36 so ill most likely look into slotted brembos with a good ceramic pad or the Massive kit. i have a set of wheels in the garage just need spacers and tires for em.

im not sure what else i want to do looks wise, maybe tint the windows bout it. i was looking into autopower rear cages last night, but that will be the last thing i get if at all. the only real "wish" i have for this car is the possibility of getting a twinscrew. locally theres a m52 swap car that is almost complete with a turbo. i figure a TS will be the next coolest thing to have in this swap/hp war. any suggestions?

So, she is finished, well motor wise. drove it back from salem today.

i need to pop the dent out on this fender

and the PO ran it through some paint or something, gotta get rid of that too.


the car runs strong and fast. well kinda. it has a miss at idle, i cant tell if its a fouled plug or a dead coil. has a exhaust leak near the cats. i need to wire the electric fan. the tach and water temp gauges dont function, im hoping SI batteries. the PO had a E transmission installed somewhere along the way which is causing massive issues vibration wise. im on the hunt for a I trans. suspension is shot, im pretty sure its original (258k!!yeck). i have wheels and tires for it already. other than all that BS im a happy camper.

any fellow swappers know anything on the idle/missing issue? it does it all the way through the powerband, not just at idle. the tach and water temp gauge not functioning?

ill be happy if i can get this fixed by this weekend for the picnic. i have suspension on the way but bavauto and ups being the bastards they are might not be able to get it to me till the day AFTER the picnic, we shall see.
