i believe so. i was told there wasnt much different between the i and e trans. they are both labeled 260. it is vibrating against the body which i guess happens from time to time. its good times though. anyone else have input on the idle/missing problem.

for some odd reason today the car sorted itself out and fixed its own idle and made FULL POWER. it is so strong, i cant describe it.
AND THEN!!!!
on the way home one of the idler pulleys broke free from its housing and i threw the belt!!!!!!!FUCKING A I HATE THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!! i knew the pulley was jumping around a bit after i pulled over to see what the ruckus was under the hood, so i milked it a lil farther (bad neighborhood where i DID NOT want to leave my car) and started to hear the belt screetch and i shut it off as fast as i could. didnt hear any crunching or anything damaging (god i hope so). its back at home in the garage after i pushed it for a half mile or so at 12am. so im on the hunt for a new idler arm assembly. looks like no XXX for me this year. :(
edit: WTF am i thinking!! this is a 24valve with a timing chain.....nm, im a moron, and used to m20s

turns out the PS pulley bolts were lose and caused everything to run amuck. i had one of three bolts left on the pump itself. i found another in the cooling duct on the backside of the alternator!!! im going to swap the ps pump out (found out it was a m20 pump in a obd1 bracket) for a actual obd1 unit, my eurosport pulleys do not fit the one that is on there now. checking things over ive found almost every bolt that holds a pulley on is lose......wow,with 2 days left to go.
